India, also the planned 2022 Yamaha MT 15 V2 has finally been released. The Yamaha MT 15 V2 launch date is April 11, 2022. Bookings for the bike started earlier this month and it will go on sale with costs starting at Rs. 1,59,900.(ex-showroom, New Delhi).

This modified Yamaha MT 15 V2 naked streetfighter is based on the R15 V4 sports bike that was launched in September 2021.

Yamaha MT-15 V2 Launch Date Revealed

India Yamaha has officially released the updated Yamaha MT-15 version 2.0 for 2022. Yamaha will launch an updated model of its small displacement streetfighter, the MT-15, on April 11 or 12.

Bookings for the updated model have already begun at select retailers starting at Rs 1,000. The MT-15 V2.0 is likely to borrow a lot of improvements from its full sibling, the R15 V4. The motorcycle is similar in appearance to the previous model.

The single-member projector LED headlamp with eyebrow-shaped LED DRLs, high rear end, aggressive fuel tank and side-hung muffler are retained.

“Yamaha fans have always admired the MT-15 for its exceptional handling and performance, but have been eagerly awaiting a more advanced version of the Dark Warrior,” said Mr. Eishin Chihana, Chairman, Yamaha Motor India Group of Companies.

Yamaha MT-15 V2 Specification & New Features

The Yamaha MT-15 retains the same power unit as its predecessor. The naked MT-15 streetfighter is powered by a liquid-cooled SOHC four-stroke, four-valve, fuel-injected 155cc engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) system capable of producing 18.1PS at 10,000rpm and 14.Nm. top. of torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine is equipped with a 6-speed manual gearbox with slip-on clutch assist.

Yamaha MT-15 V2 Colours

The new Yamaha MT-15 is available in one variant, offered in four colour options – Cyan Storm (New), Racing Blue (New) and Ice Fluo-Vermillion priced at Rs 1,62,900 and Black Metallic at Rs 1,61,900.

Yamaha MT 15 V2 Design

Since the original model was discontinued a few months ago, the new MT-15 is already in the works. New color options are available for the MT-15 2022. Everything else has been updated to fit its perfectly beautiful twin.

However, unlike the R15 V4, the MT15 did not receive any major design changes. In fact, most of the design cues characteristic of the outgoing model, such as the single-under-projector LED headlamp with eyebrow-shaped
LED DRLs, are already done.
