The BYD e6 happens to be an electric MPV that has been launched in the B2B market and is priced at INR 29.6 lakh, ex-showroom. The e6 is powered by a 71.7 kWh Blade battery that provides a WLTC (city) range of 520 km and a WLTC (combined) range of 415 km per charge.

The ex-showroom price with the 7kW charger is INR 29.6 and without the charger the MPV can be bought for INR 29.15. Currently, BYD India is working to strengthen its dealer network in cities. It gets LED DRLs, LED tail lights, leather-trimmed seats, a 10.1-inch rotating touchscreen and a CN95 air filtration system.
BYD e6 Battery, Electric Motor, Range and Charging
The MPV e6 has a 71.2 kWh battery that gives it a range of 520 km in the city. This figure drops to 415 km if you include highway travel. Claimed sequences are according to the WLTC (Worldwide harmonized Light-duty Vehicles Test Cycles) standard. There isn’t too much power and the e6 produces a 95bhp electric motor that puts out 180Nm.
It is capable of charging with alternating current and direct current. Using DC fast charging, batteries can be charged from 30 to 80 percent in 35 minutes. Regenerative braking also charges the batteries and can start as early as 2 km/h. And for an additional Rs 45,000, BYD is offering a 7kW AC wall charger for the e6.

Dimensions of the Indian model have not been announced, but are expected to be similar to the e6 sold abroad.
